OPI Extra-va-vaganza

Super sparkly and blinged up nails using OPI Extra-Va-Vaganza (3 coats) from the OPI Burlesque Collection 2010! I got this alongside with Bring On the Bling which I totally love.

Extra-va-vaganza is like the colour of rose-gold. It looks like melted rose-gold on my finger tips. I love looking at this under store lighting ie. at jewellery stores with their powerful spotlights. It made the polish SO SPARKLY I couldn’t stop staring.

The formula was typical for all glitters, what I like about the Burlesque glitters are that they are not thick nor goopy making it a breeze to apply. It took me 3 coats to achieve opacity but as with all glitters, it took me some effort to remove them. But trust me, the effort is worth it ;)

OPI Cuckoo For This Color & OPI Tease-y Does It

OPI Cuckoo for This Color (3coats):

Under sunlight:

This is such a pretty blue/green (more green in my opinion) with plenty of microshimmers. It appears different under different lighting so I really cannot find a suitable description for it. Under artificial light, it appears similar to a blackened teal, but it does not lose that green nor did it appear black. Great formula too ;)

OPI Tease-y Does It (2coats):

Under direct sunlight:

The gold flakes in the brown/purple base is to die for… :) This looks amazing under the sun but it’s still a unique and gorgeous vamp under indoor lighting. Lincoln Park At Midnight is way darker and lacks the lustre of TDI. Both are beautiful in their own ways though ;)

OPI Ali’s Big Break

Reds + glitter + jelly base = instant hit!

This is the type of reds that I love. OPI Ali’s Big Break is a candy apple red with sparkles in it. I don’t know how to describe it perfectly, and it’s so damn hard to capture with the camera but I LOVE IT TO DEATH.

OPI Ali’s Big Break (3 coats):

There! You can see the glitter flakes in it!

This was a 3-coater because it comes in a jelly base and is slightly sheer. However, it applies buttery smooth and the formula isn’t as thick as OPI formulations tend to be. It is so vibrant and pretty that I had to have it on my fingertips and toes :)

The glitter bits are very subtle and is only noticeable in direct sunlight or if you peer closely at the nail. I was hoping this red will bring me tonnes of luck for my first paper in school!

OPI Bring on the Bling

Wearing OPI Bring on the Bling released with the Burlesque Collection.

NOTD with Bring on the Bling (4-5coats for total opacity):

Blurred pic to see the sparkles!!

Horribly hard to capture the amazing-ness. BUT. Is this awesome or is this awesome?? It contains mainly gold glitters mixed with a smidgen of green, pink and orange glitters in a clear base. You can probably reach full opacity in 3 coats but I like to do more because it is SO sparkly. I’ve said this a million times, but it seriously does look like you are wearing liquid diamonds on your nails. It is perfectly FESTIVE. I love it, I don’t know how many times I’m gonna say this but I LOVE THIS POLISH.

OPI Burlesque Collection – Tease-y Does It

OPI Tease-y Does It (2 coats):

It’s gold/red/orange shimmers in a deep plum-brown base. The glitters are fairly visible in indoor lighting and look fabulous. The formula is slightly uneven on first coat but evens out after a thicker second coat. Love it!
