EOTD: Coastal Scents 88 Metal Mania Palette

I was recently gifted with a Coastal Scents 88 Metal Mania Palette. For those who are familiar with make up, Coastal Scents gained rapid fame in recent years because of their 88-eyeshadow palette which was owned by makeup beginners or enthusiasts alike.

Unlike the original 88 palette, the Metal Mania palette consists of a lot more neutrals and vintage-y browns, golds, coppers, greens as well as spring-like colours like pink, soft purples, corals and sweet oranges which make this palette extremely versatile for a variety of looks. Definitely right up my alley!

I have been experimenting with this palette for a while now since it has fast became a favourite for everyday casual looks. All the colours in the palette have a shimmery or satin finish and therefore is very easy to wear and blend.

These colours are extremely soft so that makes them super blendable. Minimal effort is needed to blend the edges so it makes putting a look together very simple. However, because these shadows are so loosely pressed, there is quite a bit of fall out especially the darker shades so remember to tap off any excess before patting it on. Swiping it on also increases the risks of fall outs.

I absolutely recommend this palette to every makeup aficionado out there because of the endless combinations of looks you can get out of this single palette. The quality is also fantastic for the price because of the impressive pigmentation and ease of blending.
